We provide a platform for individuals to share their stories, lending them a voice to inspire understanding and connection. Our foundation avoids the term “disease,” focusing instead on the human experience of living with sickle cell anemia, and refrains from the word “advocacy” because empowerment lies at the heart of our mission. At MLM, we believe that every individual owns their narrative and fosters a community where their voices are celebrated. Through this approach, MLM strengthens the bonds between individuals, families, and communities while promoting compassion, equity, and support for those living with sickle cell anemia.
